The commitment of the existent study was to develop a mucoadhesive in situ gel systems of vitamin B12 for the management of dry eye disease. The gels were prepared using pluronic F-127 and either of chitosan, carbapol 971P, sodium alginate, or hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose.
