What is a Hair Transplant?
A hair transplant is a surgical procedure where healthy hair follicles are moved from one part of the body (usually the back of the scalp) to areas that are thinning or bald. The two most common techniques used for hair transplants are:
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction): Individual hair follicles are extracted and transplanted to areas of thinning or baldness.
FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation): A strip of skin containing hair follicles is removed, divided into grafts, and transplanted.
Both techniques are effective, and the choice between them depends on factors such as the severity of hair loss, budget, and the surgeon's recommendation.
