Pre-BSP Eckardt, Timed barium esophagram and integrated relaxation pressure improved post-BSP 6 m values (9 vs 2, p = 0.001; 80 % = 81.5 %, p = 0.003 and 18.8 ± 3.2 vs 11.1 ± 2.6 mmHg, p = 0.001, respectively), and there were no significant changes up to 9y post-BSP.
