A patient was referred, after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, for pre-surgical evaluation of urothelial bladder carcinoma (single lesion). Two thickenings in the left ureter wall identified on the CT scan were equivocal for malignancy. 18F-FDG PET/CT with delayed pelvic images, hyperhydration, and furosemide showed hypermetabolic ureteral metastases and multifocal bladder tumors.
