In this work, the mesophilic bacterium Burkholderia sacchari, the halophilic bacterium Halomonas halophila, and the thermophilic bacterium Schlegelella thermodepolymerans were evaluated with regards to their suitability for polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) production from model media mimicking lignocellulose hydrolysates.
