Three new C20-diterpenoid alkaloids with a sulfonic acid unit, named aconicarmisulfonines B and C (1 and 2) and chuanfusulfonine A (3), respectively, were isolated from the Aconitum carmichaelii lateral roots ("fu zi" in Chinese).
