Choose the Best Repair Services for Lateral Restraint - Bowed Walls
#construction
ASRS uses lateral restraint ties to secure masonry to floor or ceiling joists, ensuring both are firmly connected. A hole is drilled in the masonry at the same level as the timber joists. The restraint tie has a drill bit-shaped leading edge, allowing it to cut into two or more joists as it's inserted. The masonry end is then fixed in place with resin, creating a strong bond. The hole in the masonry is filled with a color-matched mortar to make the repair seamless. Additional structural repair methods, like crack stitching and bed joint reinforcement, may also be necessary to fix cracks or stabilize the masonry.
