By road, the trip from Delhi to Jaisalmer takes 13.5 hours and is 761 km. Before reaching Jaisalmer, the most popular route is via NH11 which passes through Rohtak, Bhiwani, Bikaner and Pokhran. An alternate route is via NH 754K and NH11 which is 790 km in roughly 14 hours.
