Martin Romauldez: House Speaker & Political Heir
Martin Romauldez, the current Speaker of the Philippine House of Representatives, began his political journey in the 1990s as Kabataang Barangay president in Tolosa, Leyte. A key figure in a powerful political dynasty, he is the son of former Leyte Governor Benjamin Romauldez and nephew of Imelda Marcos. Romauldez is also a cousin of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Senator Imee Marcos.
