Unfortunately, many families have not considered what can and will happen to their children when they are no longer able to care for them, especially young families. There is a belief that planning for incapacitation, death, or long-term travel is something only older parents need to be concerned about. In reality, all families should discuss choosing the right guardian for minor children. After all, we cannot predict when life will take a turn.
