Conformity is comfort. It's far easier to align our thinking, style, or behavior with prevailing norms and trends than to swim against the tide. However, history has shown time and again that some of the most revolutionary ideas, art, and movements have come from those who dared to be different, from those for whom there was "nobody like them."
