Dubai Launches ‘Amer’ Cybersecurity Reporting Service to Combat Rising Online Fraud and Protect Residents
Dubai’s General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has rolled out a new cybersecurity reporting service through its “Amer” Contact Centre, allowing residents to flag online fraud and suspicious digital activity with ease.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts to enhance digital security and shield the community from the growing threat of cybercrime.
Authorities have called on the public to exercise caution, particularly when dealing with suspicious messages or websites posing as official entities such as GDRFA Dubai.
Residents can report concerns immediately using the “Cybersecurity Incident Reporting” feature via the Amer Contact Centre (800 5111).
