In the older intensive care unit (ICU) trauma population, it is common to have to make decisions about end-of-life. We sought to demonstrate uncertainty of patients and providers in this area. Our study is a prospective observational study of trauma patients 50years and older admitted to the ICU. Patients or surrogates completed a survey including questions regarding end-of-life.
